Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the multisitemigrate.com website, customer account, and paid Multisite Migrate licenses (Plus and Pro). The free WordPress plugin on WordPress.org is subject to the GNU General Public License, not these Terms.

Scope

These Terms apply to:

  • purchase and use of Plus or Pro license keys via this website;
  • your customer account, billing, and support related to paid licenses;
  • access to licensed plugin features that require validation against our license server.

They do not replace the GPL license for the free plugin distributed on WordPress.org.

Software license (Plus / Pro)

  • We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the paid plugin features for the plan you purchased.
  • Each license is limited to the number of site activations shown at checkout (Plus: up to 3 WordPress installs; Pro: up to 10 WordPress installs). On multisite, subsite admin seats are a separate limit (Plus: 3 subsites; Pro: 10 subsites) — see our documentation.
  • You may not resell, sublicense, or share license keys outside your organisation.
  • You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent license validation except where mandatory law allows.
  • License keys remain our property; you receive a right of use for the subscription term.

Subscriptions and payment

  • Plus and Pro are annual subscriptions billed through Stripe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date in your customer account or Stripe billing portal.
  • Promotional launch discounts apply to the first billing term only; renewal is at the regular price shown on the pricing page.
  • Prices may include applicable taxes depending on your location; Stripe collects billing and tax details.
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension of license validation until payment is received.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on new Plus or Pro purchases. Contact [email protected] within 14 days of your initial purchase with your order email. Refunds are processed via Stripe; access to paid features ends when the refund is issued.

Renewal charges are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion for billing errors.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving reasons.

Early performance of digital content: When you complete checkout, you request immediate delivery of your license key and account access. By completing payment you expressly agree that performance begins before the withdrawal period ends and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the license key is delivered and digital content is made available, to the extent permitted by law.

To exercise withdrawal where it still applies, send a clear statement to [email protected] before the period expires.

Support

  • Free plugin: community support via WordPress.org and documentation.
  • Plus: email support for license holders.
  • Pro: priority email support for license holders.

Disclaimer and liability

The software is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups and testing restores. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss. Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life or body, and under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a merchant, legal entity under public law, or public-law special fund, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Munich, Germany. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain applicable where they give you greater protection.

Changes

We may update these Terms when our services or legal requirements change. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
